Albany is
Killing Upstate New York

We
have lacked leaders who
will stand up to the New York City bosses
and fight for OUR best
interests. I'm running for
Assembly to fix the problems
they've created. I will work to
create jobs and economic
opportunities for all Niagara
County.
Our community should be free of
dangerous sexual predators
There are currently 178
registered sex offenders,
including 48 active Level Three
offenders, residing in the City
of Niagara Falls. The state
defines Level Three offenders as
a high risk of repeat offense
and a threat to public safety
exists.

The fact of the matter is that
the State of New York is using
the City of Niagara Falls as a
dumping ground for the most
dangerous of criminals in our
society, those who prey on the
children of our community. Meanwhile, Francine DelMonte, while claiming to be
concerned with this disturbing
trend, has done nothing to curb
the influx of sex offenders into
the city. Although New York State Senate
had passed a version of civil
confinement legislation in 2007,
it was a significantly
watered-down version of what had
previously been proposed.

Keep Our Children Here

If we are going to remain
competitive, New York must
attract business to the state.
In addition, we must work to
retain businesses that have
already invested in our
community. I am committed to
creating a pro-business
atmosphere across the state of
New York and here in Niagara
County so our children have the
opportunity to find gainful
employment in Niagara County,
instead of being forced to
depart to other parts of the
country due to a lack of
opportunities in the state.

and Anne Marie.
Fight to Clean up Albany
I am fed up with the status quo
in Albany. Corruption and
dysfunction have led to record
budget deficits and our
legislators have failed to pass
an on-time budget once again. I will fight in
Albany to bring integrity back
to state government.

Protect the Taxpayer
Albany
politicians just don't get it -
they're taxing us to death. The
2009 state budget increased
taxes by $9 billion and spending
by $11 Billion. I will work
tirelessly in the Assembly to
cut state spending and deliver
real tax relief to hard-working,
over-taxed residents of Niagara
County.

Return Jobs to Niagara County
I
have led the fight to reverse
the sweep of $550 million in New
York Power Authority funds from
our community because those dollars should be
used to generate economic
development opportunities and
good-paying jobs right here in
Niagara County.
